Verse of the day : And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14 ( Transformer) Since the devil fell from heaven he always has been a deceiver, transforming himself as an angel of ligtht deceive many with lies. Many people give themselves to the power of the devil, believing lies from false workers of Christ teaching things that go against the word of God. Apostle Paul in this chapter talks about the same troubles he was having, so called teachers and preachers that try to deceive Christian's for their own self gain, teaching things that is non biblical. Christians are given the Holy Spirit and the word of God to discern what is biblical and non-biblical. We have no excuse to be led astray except for our own self-will. Follow the Bible, the Word of God, you will never be lead astray, it has all authority.

Verse of the day : Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, II Corinthians 9:10 ( Supplying seed) One may have a vision to grow a big garden, they can go out till the land, but without seed to grow there will be no harvest. There is different parts of winning people for Jesus all are not preachers, pastors and evangelists, they are those who supply their needs to make it possible for them to preach the word of God, both shall receive a reward. You may not be the one went, but you could be the one that made it possible for the preacher who did. Jesus said, whosoever shall give a cold drink of water in his name shall not lose his reward. Without people's support of giving there is no church there is no evangelism, churches set and cannot reach their full potential, because some people don't have a heart to invest into the Kingdom of Heaven . Give and shall be given to you pressed down good measure running over. In this chapter of the Apostle Paul write sow sparingly reap sparingly sow Bountiful reap Bountiful, don't give grudgingly, God loves a cheerful Giver.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. II Corinthians 8:9 (The greatest sacrifice) Jesus Christ made the ultimate sacrifice, when He left heaven and came down to earth to restore mankind to God through the suffering of Himself. By His sacrifice anyone who believes on Him can go to heaven. Jesus left the riches of heaven, making himself poor, by suffering, to become King of Kings and Lord of Lords. By Sacrificing our self for the gospels sake will produce eternal fruit. One day God will reward His faithful openly. Some Christian might not have much in the world, but they have riches beyond this world.

Preach the truth

Verse of the day : Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. II Corinthians 5:20 (Ambassadors for Christ) As the Holy Spirit leads us, we spread the good news of salvation through and by Jesus Christ. God chose the way of salvation to be preached through believers. When Christ ascended on high he gave gifts unto believers, so when we open our mouths the power of God works through us by the Holy Spirit to call people to God to be saved. We may feel weak, ineffective and unworthy, but the power is not of ourself, but it's of God. If we can be faithful just to tell people of the good news of Jesus He will work Mighty Works through us, bringing many into glory.

I believe

Verse of the day : For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2Co 4:6 (God Of Light) In the beginning the Spirit hovered over the waters, earth was full of darkness and void, God said let there be light and there was light and God saw the light and said it is good. As a lost person we are as the earth was full of darkness and void. The Holy Spirit hoovers over the unsaved dark heart and calls it into the light of Jesus Christ. When the heart receives the light shining it bring the light of eternal life. If the Spirit has been drawing you to Jesus open your heart and let the light of Spirit shine in, it will give you eternal life.

Verse of the day : You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; II Corinthians 3:2 (Representatives) The people who go to any certain church give the impression of the doctrine that is taught in that church. If they live a very liberal life, then people will assume that their church has a very liberal doctrine. If a people lives a Biblical sound principle life then people will assume they go to a sound doctrine church. All people who confess they are Christian are witnesses to those they come incontact with. The people who confess salvation who live as ungodly as the unbelievers they come incontact with do a disservice to the preaching of Christ. Good or bad doctrine starts at the top and goes out into the congregation which goes out into the community. Go to a Biblical Church.

Verse of the day : lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices. II Corinthians 2:11 (Not ignorant) In First Corinthians there was an issue with someone that Paul had told them to deal with, now after dealing with the man, he has repented, so Paul is telling them to forgive him so satan don't gain an advantage in the body of Christ. The devil would never want you to forgive, satan would continuously want you to hold a grudges, but as Christ forgave us, we are to forgive others. Once people have truly repented we are to forgive them, so it does not hinder the church. When there's friction in the body of Christ it slows down the message of Jesus being preached. We show our maturity level when we're able to forgive and go on. I am, what I show myself to be in the trials. I don't want to hinder the gospel from being preached.

Verse of the day : For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you. II Corinthians 1:12 (How to conducted ourselves) We know in our hearts when we conducted ourselves to be like Jesus to fulfill the principles that He laid down. A person can walk the dog if they want to, but they know if they're striving to live Godly or fulfilling the lust of the flesh. The Holy Spirit convicts us when we don't walk Godly. There are some that their conscience is convicting, so to help them not fills so convicted they go find a churches with pastors that tells them it's okay for them to do anything. Even though their conscience is convicting them they still think they're all right. Especially those who set under bad doctrine that preaches grace okay's them to do any old thing. The reality of the whole matter is when they face God, He will say your heart convicted you to do right ,but you followed sin. We won't be able to blame someone else for own actions. If we're not living right we need to get right, and quit calling it grace when we live unholy. The power of Christ will save us from our sins and give us strength to strive to live holy, when will fall short we will repent and ask God to forgive us.

Verse of the day : Let all that you do be done with love. I Corinthians 16:14 (In a Loving way) Handling hard issues with people can be tough, but as Christian we need to try to handle them in a loving and decent way. By showing compassion when we attempt to work out the matters. We don't want to come across with a like it or lump it attitude, but rather with loneliness of mind, we just speak the truth in love. Even though I was nice about it I still speak the truth. Lot of times we get amped up and think we have to be rude just to say the hard things that need to be said. I believe people thinks that shows there tough, but one can say the same thing in loving way that needs to be said. Christian striving to be different, christ-like.

Verse of the day : Let all things be done decently and in order. I Corinthians 14:40 ( decent) There needs to be a balance of order in the church, if things are out of hand it will hinder the preaching of the cross. There are churches today that spend most of the service singing and give very little time for the word of God, maybe 15 minute sermon and that is it. Worship prepares the heart to receive preaching. The preaching of the cross is the power of God to them that believe and how shall they believe without the preaching of the word by the Spirit. This chapter is a lot on tongues in the church, Paul was writing a church is out of hand, very little order, everybody speaking in tongues, nobody interpreting what they're saying, all order has been lost. I've seen church service turned into a donnybrook farm and the word of God never even get preached, I'm the type of person, I believe that every service God's word needs to be spoken. Not with people just sitting around socializing while other people are up dancing around, but there needs to be order and decency. Where the spirit is there is Liberty, but the spirit is orderly not confusion.
